Brayden Pro, when used in conjunction with Brayden Online downloaded onto an
Apple iPad, provides real time feedback of key CPR parameters which can be reviewed
and analysed to help improve the quality of CPR performance.
Brayden Pro has been available on the android platform since 2017 but the availability
of Brayden Online on the Apple Appstore increases the flexibility of use for this
excellent CPR training manikin.
Brayden Pro and Brayden Online have been developed in close co-operation with Global Experts.
Brayden Pro, when used with Brayden Online, helps the student perform good quality chest compressions at the correct depth, rate (speed) and with the correct recoil between compressions. Real time feedback for correct hand position is also provided.
Brayden Pro, when used with Brayden Online, also provides real time feedback for ventilation performance (correct volume of air delivered).
Easy to use and intuitive debrief of
adult CPR performance is provided by Brayden Online
Training Menu
This menu provides training options for adult resuscitation skills practice and assessment. There are four options to choose from:
Chest Compressions Only Practice: This option allows chest compressions to be practiced with real-time feedback provided on the tablet screen (and manikin) to help optimise performance. A full debrief is provided when completed.
Ventilation Only Practice: This option allows ventilations to be practiced with real-time feedback provided on the tablet screen (and manikin) to help optimise performance. This is ideal for respiratory arrest scenarios. A full debrief is provided when completed.
Adult CPR Practice: This option combines compressions and ventilations in accordance with the ERC algorithm with full real-time feedback and provides a full debrief when completed to optimise performance.
Adult CPR Assessment: This option records the performance of the student but with no real-time feedback on the screen or the manikin. A full debrief provided when completed.

Compression Only Training
This screen allows students to see how well they are performing CPR in real-time. This is in addition to the feedback provided by the manikin lights.
Presented below are brief descriptions for each metric:
No. of Compressions
Records the number of compressions performed.
Cycle
Records the number of cycles performed (when in CPR practice mode)
CPR Event Period
Records the elapsed time for the training event.
Compression Depth and Rate Indicator
Guides the student to perform compressions at the correct depth, rate (speed) and with the correct recoil between compressions. Also provides "hands off" time when compressions are not being performed.
Compression Depth and Rate Matrix
Allows all chest compressions per cycle to be viewed to help encourage consistent and correct compression technique.
Hand Position
Provides real-time feed-back of hand position and provides an indication (red light) when the finger position is incorrect.

The Brayden Online app provides real-time feedback of chest compression performance according to the guidelines. The Brayden Pro manikin provides a realistic chest resistance appropriate for an adult. Key information relating to the chest compression depth, rate and release (recoil) are presented to allow the student to perfect their technique. The manikin and the app can be used for adult CPR (1 person or 2 person) or compression only training.
Values based on European Resuscitation Council guidelines
Compression Matrix
The Chest Compression Matrix provided by the Brayden Online app works in conjunction with the Chest Compression Indicator and is provided in real-time.
This easy to interpret display helps students modulate their compressions so they hit the 'sweet spot' with the correct compression depth, rate and release (recoil).
Hand Positioning
The Brayden Online app gives real-time feedback of hand position on the manikin chest. When correct (middle of the chest) a green dot will appear on the display and, when incorrect, a red dot will appear.
Do 3 cycles of CPR
(30:2)
Press the start button to begin, finish to end.
Assessment CPR
When this option is selected, the student is asked to perform 3 cycles of adult CPR with an algorithm of 30 compressions to 2 ventilations (30:2)
No real-time feedback is provided during the assessment period, via the app or the manikin.
Upon completion of the assessment, the app provides full debrief information for the student to review.

Debrief Results Screens
Comprehensive objective/numeric information is provided by Brayden Online and enables all relevant adult CPR parameters to be assessed.
When a student stops their training, the first debrief screen they see is the ‘Radar Chart’. This intuitive and interactive display allows the overall CPR Quality score to be viewed but also allows the performance of individual key CPR metrics to be viewed against a theoretical perfect score.
Spider Debrief Screen
Provides an overall numeric score. Also depicts an easy to understand, pictorial summary of each CPR metric measuring against a theoretical perfect score to help highlight improvement needs.

Summary Screen
Provides relevant debrief information (mean values etc) of the key CPR metrics.

CPR Metric Criteria Screen
Provides relevant debrief information (percentages) for each key CPR metric. Allows performance of each CPR metric to be reviewed in accordance with Guideline acceptable ranges and highlights performance outside the acceptable range.
By Cycle
Provides relevant debrief information (by individual cycle) for each key CPR metric. Allows multiple cycles to be reviewed quickly and easily. Variations in performance can easily be identified.
Please always use the Brayden range of manikins for CPR training according to the current European Resuscitation Council (ERC) guidance with regard to the COVID pandemic
