      • Following on from the successful Brayden CPR training manikin, which has intuitive lights to effectively teach good quality CPR, the introduction of a new model called Brayden Pro takes CPR training to the next step where numeric data is required. Brayden Pro has a Bluetooth link to an App that records all key CPR metrics. The additional functionality provided by Brayden Pro will further improve and enhance the quality of debriefing to help improve CPR performance. The ability for students and instructors to obtain immediate feedback of performance using objective and numeric data will help improve the quality of CPR performance for every learner and will provide necessary data of performance when required.

      • The Brayden Pro is a breath of fresh air in the world of resuscitation. The pedagogical feedback mechanism through direct visual LED lights and the link t the Android tablet platform gives a superb development in auditing the student and giving them a clear understanding of direct and future learning. The equipment is easy to use and has not been over complicated by unnecessary bells and whistles. Highly recommended and great addition to the tutors armoury at a realistic price.

      • The ERC 2015 Guidelines for Resuscitation identify the usefulness of feedback from devices during CPR training as a way of improving trainees kill acquisition and retention. The Brayden manikin achieves this in an innovative and effective way and allows trainers to assess objectively whether chest compressions are being delivered in accordance with recommendations, rather than simply relying on making a subjective estimation.

Dr. Carl Gwinnutt, Emeritus Consultant, Salford Royal Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust ,

      • We always have to search for different ways for didactic learning in CPR education. The Brayden manikin adds a new and innovative way to teach CPR via a light indicator that simulates basic perfusion. It is useful for training at a community level with lay personnel as well as for refreshing CPR skills with health care professionals.

Prof. Christoph Redelsteiner PhDr, MSW, MSc, Paramedic, University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten, Department of Health & Social Work, Wien, Austria ,

      • I've personally used the Brayden manikin and it works well. The compliance of the chest when doing correct compressions according to ERC Guidelines (5cm to 6cm) is realistic and the intuitive visual feedback encourages candidates to try to illuminate the brain with blood. The Brayden manikin offers a cost effective way of providing real time objective feedback when compared to other manikins on the market and I would recommend that they are regularly used on BLS courses to improve CPR performance.

Dr Francesc Carmona, Emergency Physician, SEM, Barcelona, Spain and ERC Instructor ,

      • The Brayden manikin helps in a new way to improve CPR skills and provides both trainees and trainer immediate objective visual feedback which is very inspiring for trainees. Quality of compressions is paramount in resuscitation and the manikin guides trainees in a very stimulating way to improve this lifesaving technique.

Rene Boomars (Physician Assistant) and Dr Rob Lichtveld (EMS Medical Director), Regionale Ambulance Voorziening Utrecht, Holland ,

      • The new Brayden CPR manikin enables both the learner and the instructor to monitor CPR quality in a simple and intuitive way. The real-time feedback enables the learner and instructor to visualise the main goal of CPR cardio-cerebral re-perfusion easily and perfectly.

Rainer Gaupp, CEO EduSim, researcher at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg, Germany ,

      • The Brayden manikin is a novel product which offers something not currently provided by other manikins in the market at this price range. I believe the red light system indicating cerebral perfusion in relation to the quality of chest compressions might offer a visual training aid to both professional and lay rescuers.

Matt Aldridge, Senior Lecturer in adult nursing, University of Wolverhampton ,

      • There are many CPR mannequins on the market, but the Brayden manikin brings visual and real-time objective feedback that is intuitive and makes sense to everyone and highlights the very reason why we should perform high quality CPR - that is to re-perfuse the brain with oxygenated blood! The red lights "flowing" to the forehead of this mannequin when adequate CPR is performed is a simple and a great idea! The Brayden manikin brings something new that really promotes quality chest compressions in an unambiguous manner for lay persons and professionals alike.

      • The Brayden CPR manikin is one of many manikins that are currently available on the market. It has a very interesting feature which allows the user to get immediate real time feedback on their performance. The light effects help to ensure that the quality of compression meets the required 2015 guidelines whether that is ERC or AHA. The Brayden manikin would be of benefit particularly to the lay person in helping to reinforce the purpose of delivering effective CPR.

      • Our remit is to train members of the public in basic life support, CPR and AED use. Traditionally we have used Anne manikins but when the Brayden manikin was launched we decided to try it out because it represented much better value for money. When it arrived the first thing we noticed was the quality of construction and the mechanical mechanisms which were extremely good. When we started using it fully with the lights switched on, we thought the visual feedback offered by the Brayden manikin was excellent and made it really easy to explain CPR to lay people. Everyone we have trained using the new Brayden manikin has loved working with it, and it has significantly enhanced the value of the training we can give – so much so that we have now purchased 5 Braydens for when we run our larger training sessions and also recommended it to our fellow CFR groups in the area. This simple to use product is great to use, a significant enhancement on any other product on the market, easy to maintain and is very competitively priced without compromising on quality or function.

James Crawley, Team Leader of a large UK Ambulance Community First Responder (CFR) group ,

      • This manikin is a refreshing change from traditional basic life support manikins. I have found my class more eager to practice with this new CPR feedback technique. Demonstrating blood flow and the concept of CPR in this unique way engages every class I teach. Over the last year the manikin has proved to be robust and reliable after being transported to a variety of locations for basic CPR teaching sessions

      • The Brayden Pro builds on the success of the Brayden with lights and in my opinion gives the best individualised feedback on CPR performance. A particular strength of this manikin is the work that has gone into weighting the various CPR metrics allowing a realistic overall assessment of performance giving a much more reliable indicator of patient survivability. As a research and assessment resource, the Brayden Pro manikin is especially useful in objectively measuring ventilation and compression data which allows the user to quickly interpret, correlate and distribute the data.

      • The Brayden Baby is a very useful manikin for teaching good quality infant CPR according to current Guidelines.  It has evidently been designed with help from experts!  The lights on the manikin give excellent intuitive real-time CPR feedback and help guide the student to perform correct ventilation technique for an infant and also help guide the student to perform good quality chest compressions.   It is essential that both these key component parts of infant CPR are performed to the highest level in real life to help optimise survival.  The Brayden Baby manikin, in my opinion, is unique in its ability to do this.

Prof. Patrick Van de Voorde, Paediatrician and Clinical Head of Emergency Medicine, University Hospital Ghent ,

      • ‘It was a privilege to be asked to help with the development of the Brayden Baby manikin. Having taught paediatric resuscitation in acute NHS hospitals for over 25 years I wanted a manikin that could provide feedback for both effective chest compressions and ventilation.

This new infant manikin does just that. It provides the student with intuitive lights to enable them to visualise the correct technique for quality chest compressions as well as ventilation.

The head positioning and jaw thrust are realistic with the added feature of lights flashing if the student overinflates. I believe this manikin will be invaluable for training infant BLS, enabling the student to visualise for themselves what it means to provide effective ventilation without overinflating as well as delivering quality CPR using the correct depth, and recoil. I do believe the Brayden Baby is a game changer for teaching good quality infant CPR’.

Liesje Andre, Resuscitation Lead, Great Ormand Street Children’s Hospital, London (to 2018) ,
